12 Rebuked for Violating PSBB Regulation in Kramat Jati

Some 45 joint personnel gave social work and administrative fine sanctions to 12 people who have violated the PSBB regulation by not wearing masks. They were netted on Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Dukuh Urban Village, Kramat Jati Sub-district, East Jakarta, Thursday (5/28).

We sanction them as a deterrent effect in minimizing the disease

Kramat Jati Sub-district Head Eka Darmawan said PSBB sweeping was intensified massively to curb the COVID-19 transmission. Besides residents, his side was also targeting stubborn business places and vehicles carrying more than 50 percent of passengers.

The sweeping itself was focused on Jalan Raya Bogor, Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Jalan Dewi Sartika, Jalan Mayjen Soetoyo and Jalan MT Haryono.

Of 12 violators, 4 were sanctioned with administrative fines and 8 were sanctioned with social work by sweeping the streets.

"We sanction them as a deterrent effect in minimizing the disease. We also given them masks for free," he expressed.
